Please join other NCJW Atlanta Section advocates at our first training session for Coffee with Legislators!
In the session, we will:
- Introduce the program
- Walk through the toolkit with guidance for inviting legislators and preparing your coffee conversation
- Practice connecting with friendly legislators
- Review the reimbursement process (NCJW covers all coffee expenses!)
Coffee with Legislators is our inaugural program under the Stand Up, Speak Up, Show Up Advocacy Initiative. Over a simple cup of coffee, advocates will familiarize legislators with NCJW Atlanta, invite the elected official to share their priorities, and offer our own. Once the cup is dry, we will have established a pathway for ongoing communication that will benefit both sides.
