Join us for our Opening Meeting and Program where the program will be “Caught in the Middle: Immigration/Deportation and the Impact on Families.”  Speakers will explore the who, why, and when of the direct impact of immigration and deportation on our community’s families. They will include leaders oEl Refugio, an organization working to support the families of detainees being held at the Stewart Detention Center, and New American Pathways , an organization working to resettle refugees.

Cost is $18; registration is required.

Due to the policies of the current administration, the families served by these two organizations are being severely impacted. Please consider bringing one or more of the following items with you to help these families in need: 

  • $25 Shell Gas Cards 
  • Gift Cards to Subway Restaurant  
  • Dry Foods including rice, pasta, beans, etc.
